Solution:

Let us consider P = Pigs; C = Chickens

Total Heads = 15  so P + C = 15
Total Legs    = 44  so 4P + 2C = 44
Solving the above equations,

we get P = 7 and C = 8.

SO 7 Pigs and 8 Chickens
