Puzzle with answer: If one rabbit saw 9 elephants while heading off to the river, each elephant saw 3 monkeys going towards that river. Each monkey had 1 parrot in each hand. What number of animals are going towards the river?
Solution for 1 Rabbit saw 9 Elephants Riddle
Now we will look into to question:-
a) 1 Rabbit saw 9 Elephants while going to the river, most of the people think that 9 elephants are going to the river but it is wrong, why because if you understand the first statement clearly one rabbit while going to the river, it saw 9 elephants
i) here we found that 1 animal is going to the river
b) each elephant saw 3 monkeys going towards that river. so here we understood that all 9 elephants got saw 3 monkeys while going to the riverside
Therefore each elephant saw 3 monkeys mean we have 9 elephants then logic would be 9*3= 27 monkeys. but the twist here 9 elephants saw 3 monkeys while going to the river so it means all elephants saw 3 monkeys going to the river.
ii) hence we found 3 animals (monkeys) going to the river
c) if you look the final statement; Each monkey had 1 parrot in each hand, we already know that 3 monkeys going to the river so each money holds a parrot on each hand so as per logic monkeys have 2 hands so 3*2=6
iii) hence we found 6 parrots going towards the river.
add i , ii, iii, sentences…
The final answer is: 1 Rabbit+ 3 Monekys+ 6 parrots=10 animals are going to towards the river
but it is very important to realize here like the question is about how many animals going the river, we have in 6 birds going to the river that means only 4 animals (1rabbit=3 monkeys) so 4 animals can be an answer
